A TechLead, or Technical Leader, is a high level contributor within a team focused on technical leadership, team supervision, and long term vision for a project. This role involves collaborative communication with contributors reporting to them, co-leaders working on the same project, and managing expectations on the team. TechLeads are typically a tenured squad leader who has developed additional leadership qualities within an organization.
